A family separated by miles is brought “home” for the holidays during one of the happiest times of the year. I absolutely love Christmas, and this is just one of the many reasons why. It’s a time for family, love, laughter, joy, and reflection. And even though the LeCompte family is separated by flyer miles, it doesn’t stop them from making the trip to enjoy each others’ company for a week’s stay in Charlotte, NC. And even though Grant lives in Chicago, he found me and planned out this beautiful family session for everyone. And for living states away from each other, and no time to coordinate clothing, I’d say they did a fine job with arranging their outfits. It all came together beautifully, and we had so much fun. And even though he was woken up from a nap just for this portrait session, little Everett gave us lots of smiles and handled it like a champ. And don’t be fooled, everyone was sweating by the end of our time together. They may be wearing sweaters, but this December, Charlotte hit record-breaking temps in the 70’s for Christmas! I had such a blast with you all. Thank you, again, for getting in touch and arranging this amazing gift for you and your family! I hope you all have traveled back home safely and are enjoying the new year!
