End-of-Summer Portraits | Lewis Family
We had the perfect end-of-summer portrait session with the Lewis family. Heather is actually a previous client of mine. She and I first met when she hired me to help her create some updated brand photos and headshots for her thriving nail salon in Sandpoint, Idaho.
When I arrived at their family home, I walked inside to chat for a bit before we got started. And as I was standing there getting to know the family, I saw past photos of their family made into canvases, hanging on their walls and sitting on their mantelpiece. It was such a wonderful reminder of just how important my job really is. It’s encouraging to see that families are still taking the time to display their cherished memories across their home and not just keeping them locked up on their phones and computers.
Heather LOVES flowers and loves color. Her love of color also shines through in her nail salon branding, so I wasn’t at all surprised to find such an array of beautiful, colorful flowers all around her family home. We had no shortage of backdrops to use.
Photographing the Lewis family was such a breeze. They were all so much fun, and you can just tell that they really enjoyed spending time together as a family. Dad was the best at making everyone laugh. Often times, dads are typically the ones who have the least amount of fun during a family portrait session. Not this dad! What a breath of fresh air.
Thank you, Lewis family, for inviting me into your home for an evening. It was such a pleasure getting to know you more.
If you’d like to update your family photos, I’d love to hear from you! Let’s plan a family portrait session that showcases your family’s unique personality.
