Bonners Ferry Newborn Photographer | A Tiny Home Lifestyle Newborn Session
As a Bonners Ferry newborn Photographer, I am honored to be asked to share some of the most intimate moments with growing families as they welcome a new baby into the world. As it so happens, this couple are dear friends of ours and part of our life group at Mountain Springs Church here in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Dean and Sarah are first time parents who had just moved into their self-built tiny home just a couple weeks before the birth of their son, James. It was such a blessing and answer to prayer that they were able to experience a home birth in the comfort and privacy of their brand new tiny home.
I’m not gonna lie, I was a bit concerned about how I was going to manage the space while taking their photos during their lifestyle newborn session because of the fact that their house literally is a tiny home. The spaces are all very tight (as you can imagine). Even so, we easily managed to get so many wonderful pictures of baby James. Since I don’t do any overly posed positions of baby, it’s very easy to photograph newborns just as they are. If they want their hands up in the air, let them. If they want to be laying on their side, let them. Lifestyle newborn sessions are meant to be more relaxed and go-with-the-flow as you capture baby and parents in their natural element.
The last thing that parents to newborns need to worry about is being prepared for this complicated newborn session and be disappointed if baby is too wide awake and fussy to be posed in these unnatural positions. That’s why I love lifestyle newborns sessions so much. We don’t put any sort of pressure on baby or parents to act a certain way. We allow everyone to just be themselves while capturing candid moments in the natural setting of newborn life.
If you’re pregnant and wanting to schedule your own maternity and or lifestyle newborn session, get in touch with me to start planning. I’d love to hear from you, and I’d be honored to be a part of your family for a couple hours.
