Wildflower Maternity Photos for First-Time Parents | Young Living Highland Flats Farm – Naples, Idaho
These wildflower maternity photos were extra special for me to capture. My brother and his wife are expecting their first child. So when I knew they would be visiting us all the way from Pennsylvania while she was 7 months pregnant, I knew we would have to carve out some time to capture this special season of life for them.
This rainbow baby boy of theirs follows a devastating loss through a miscarriage of their first pregnancy. But in such a redemptive way, they learned they were pregnant once again the following year on the exact day they found out they were pregnant the first time. How beautiful is that?
We walked and hiked all over North Idaho while they were visiting. Bethany is making pregnancy looks so incredibly easy. Haha. We caught the last bit of sun that this day had to give. It was their last night visiting us, and they were going to be leaving the next day around lunchtime. So even though it was pouring down rain just an hour or two before we took these photos, Dustan and Bethany were such troopers as they trudged through muddy wildflower fields at the Young Living Highland Flats Farm here in Naples, Idaho.
Speaking of which, these purple flowers (whatever they are, I haven’t a clue) bloomed just a couple of weeks before Dustan and Bethany’s visit to Idaho. Before that, I honestly had no idea where the perfect spot for them would be. It was the best timing. And I think you could agree, it turned out to be quite a magical location.
