The Jaeger Family | Charlotte Family Photographer

I met the Jaeger family for their fall portraits just outside of Charlotte at one of my favorite parks.  The day was overcast, but that didn’t stop us from having fun!  We played dress up with an Elsa dress, played with the family dog, and finally got some good laughs out of the kiddos.  Sometimes, children just aren’t in the mood to take photos, and that’s totally okay!  I intentionally plan my family sessions with enough time to allow for temper tantrums, tears, refusal to put on clothes, and any other obstacle you can think of.  I have a lot of patience when it comes to this, because my families trust me to give them a fabulous product.  We fought some tears during this session, but we got through it and we ended up with some fabulous photos for this family to use for this year’s Christmas cards.  And the fact that they brought their dog just makes everything better anyway.  I love when my clients want to include their pets!  They’re part of the family, too, and you can’t leave them out.   Thank you, Jaegers for allowing me to be a part of your family for an evening!
