Summer Family Session at Historic Sandpoint Farm | The Wells Family
This summer family session was shot at one of my favorite locations to use in Sandpoint. When I’m not meeting a vacationing family at their rented lake house, this historic farm in Selle Valley is almost always the one my clients choose for their family portraits.
It’s not every day that I have the honor of working with a fellow photographer. Sarah reached out to me excited to have finally found a photographer who she felt would capture her family in a way that she always envisioned. She admitted she hadn’t had family portraits done in years. Talk about pressure! Surprisingly, I was actually a bit nervous because I knew going into our time together that she had been waiting years to capture some special images of her family.
All nervousness was immediately squashed once I realize how easy-going and fun her beautiful family was. And because they were used to having a photographer for a mom/wife, everyone was already well prepared for posing and taking direction for prompts. We shared some really good laughs over it all as we captured some fun and candid photos for this super sweet family.
