Sandpoint Pet Photography | Dog Sitting for a Friend
This is just something fun that I thought I’d share with you all. We recently made a random friend while we were touring around Coeur d’Alene for the day. We had heard great things about Crafted Tap House + Kitchen, so we decided to see what it was all about.
After downing his giant meal, a gal from one of the neighboring tables said,
“Did you finish that whole thing?!”
Haha! Her southern accent gave her away immediately, and so we struck up a conversation. We don’t often meet many southerners here. So when we do, it’s like a little taste of home (or one of our homes lol).
We ordered more drinks and chatted with her and her friend for about another hour, and then parted ways.
Meanwhile, Jon and I had been looking to replace our camper ever since we sold our 5th wheel from our travels as full-time RVers. So that weekend, I scoured the internet for used campers that would work for our new travel plans this winter (if you want to hear more about that, be sure to check out our travel blog).
We had been researching a newer camper that didn’t seem to be sold at dealerships anywhere close by. We knew the brand well, but just wanted to put our eyes on one before making a decision. Low and behold, I ended up finding one on Facebook Marketplace in Coeur d’Alene! So I messaged the seller to arrange a time to come take a peek.
The message I received back from the seller was unexpected:
“Hey there!!! So random question….were you at Crafted on Saturday and speak to 2 women?”
Whaaaaat?! It was the southern gal we met at Crafted! How crazy! To make a long story short, we DID end up purchasing their camper from them. Yay! We have a new home on wheels! Then we heard that she was going to be taking a week to go on a work trip to Denver with her husband, and she needed a dog sitter.
Jon and I both love dogs, so he volunteered us to take care of their crazy 8-month old Husky for a week. And while she was with us, I figured I would take some pictures of her so that her mom and dad could have some nice photos of their baby girl. Enjoy!
