When clients ask me to include their pets, I always say, “Of course!” When the Reindl family approached me and told me they wanted to include their family cows, I couldn’t contain my excitement. It’s no secret that I am an animal-lover. I don’t what it is, I welcome all furry friends to my family sessions. They’re part of the family, are they not? Why shouldn’t they have their pictures taken, too? The light was setting at the perfect time high atop the mountain where this pasture held a few dozen cattle. We had the best time mingling with the cows, fed them, spooking a couple of them, and they spooked me a couple of times. I’m pretty sure they thought my camera was something to eat!
This farming family just made my day that evening. Two older, protective brothers, a sweet little sister, it was picture perfect.
