Day Designer Planner by Whitney English | A review
A few weeks back, I shared 5 tips for getting, and staying organized amidst the chaos. And in the article, I mentioned a fabulous planner I had found that has changed the entire way I plan and keep track of my life. It has transformed the way I stay organized, and today I’m sharing my review of this amazing planner by Whitney English. I present to you, The Day Designer.
The name alone is inviting. It pulls you into its beautifully laid out pages, easy-to-use layout, and impeccably crafted spiral binding with its sturdy, hard cover designs. The craftsmanship of this planner doesn’t end there. When you order your Day Designer, it will be delivered to your door securely nestled in a Tiffany blue, slide-out box. A well-deserved, gorgeous presentation for this little gem.
Keep your life well-designed by choosing from one of their four cover designs for their standard-sized planner. The overall look is completed with gold accents for the corner protectors, monthly tabs, and spiral binding.
Upon opening your Day Designer, you’ll notice their newest feature added to the design of the planner in 2015. A Tiffany blue pocket folder is conveniently tucked into the beginning of the planner for easy access storage for your most important papers.
Dive right into organizing your life’s to-do’s with monthly, and daily, views of your schedule. The monthly view is pretty standard.
But when you turn the next page to begin planning your days, you are sure to be impressed. Each page is dedicated to its own day. Across the top of each page, you’ll find areas for planning dinner, finances, must-do’s, and reminders of items you really don’t want to forget.
The left half of the page is dedicated to your hourly scheduling and appointments while the right half gives you a beautiful checklist space for your daily tasks and reminders.
But my favorite element of this amazing design lies across the bottom of each page. Whitney has assigned a spot for you to give yourself daily encouragements and other miscellaneous “notes to self.” Personally, I love to use this space to write a piece of scripture I want to memorize or daily devotion I need for encouragement.
The true beauty of this planner lies beyond the regal and intelligent design. It’s the design that allows you to make it beautifully customized to your life. It allows you the freedom to make it uniquely you.
