Billy + Stephanie | Charlotte Couples and Pet Photographer

I had the absolute pleasure of taking photos of my best friend of college, her husband, and their crazy Chocolate Lab, Rylee.  Stephanie and I met in college, and she has been there for me through thick and thin, always listened when I needed to vent, and even let me copy her homework from time to time.  HaHa, yes…I was “that friend” once in a while.  But over the years, I began to realize that this wasn’t just a friendship that was here and then gone once we went our own ways in life.  Thankfully, we have still been very much a part of each others’ lives enough though we have been states apart.  And as luck would have it, we are now living only two and a half hours from each other – she near Fayetteville, North Carolina, and I in South Carolina near Charlotte.  And now it’s my turn, as all great friendships are give and take, to be there for her when she needs it the most.  Billy, as of January 15, 2015, left for his year-long deployment for the Army.  I have seen their relationship grow over the years, and know without a shadow of a doubt that their love for each other will span the miles they are apart.  Willingly becoming a military wife is possibly one of the most difficult things a woman can do, and Stephanie does it with such strength.  In order to fill their home with photographs of her family while he was gone, she asked me to do a photo shoot for them.  They visited us for a one-night stay in our home, and we had fun utilizing the fields around where we live in order to get some great shots of them with Rylee.  I later took just the two of them to Glencairn Garden in Rock Hill, SC to give them some time to just enjoy each others’ company.  Steph, you are my girl.  I love you to pieces.  Thank you for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
