Classic North Idaho Fall | Musser Family Photos

Hope is probably one of the most beautiful small towns in North Idaho. This classic north idaho fall family session was epitome of what every family portrait session should be like. The fall colors were on point and was the perfect backdrop for the color scheme this family chose to be dressed in. I just can’t get over it.

When planning your wardrobe, it’s also good to consider the terrain. The mom’s lace dress was getting caught on every single briar on the ground and we were constantly having to stop and help her get untangled. This obviously didn’t affect my ability to capture some spectacular images for them, but it did have an effect on their overall experience and the flow of the session. So keep this in mind if you’re wanting that long, flowy dress aesthetic in your photos! You may have to contend with nature, and you’ll have to decide if it’s worth the extra effort. If you want to avoid this hassle, try layering your outfit with a mid-length dress, leggings, and boots, instead. Easy fix and still very fashionable and aesthetically pleasing in photos.
