Baby’s First Christmas! | Charlotte Family Photographer
Merry Christmas, everyone! To celebrate this wonderful day, I thought I would share a beautiful lifestyle session I had with a sweet Charlotte family who is enjoying their first Christmas with their baby girl. It was pouring down rain that morning, so our session was relocated from a nearby park to the family’s cozy little home. We brainstormed the night before on how to best capture them together, and I suggested bringing out the Christmas decorations and capturing the first family Christmas tree decorating as a family of three. We had so much fun watching little Olivia as she discovered all the shiny, sparkly ornaments and lights. Her eyes were as big as saucers. It was definitely a magical time for the Millers as they got to watch their little girl have all of these first experiences knowing that it was all going to be captured for them to cherish forever.
Even by the end of the session, the rain was still coming down. But that wasn’t about to stop them from venturing out for just a few shots of the family outdoors. Am I so glad we did! We took the umbrellas and went on a short walk to the back of their home where there was a walking path covered by trees with gorgeous orange leaves! It was the most beautiful sight ever. This family was just an absolute blast to work with, and I can’t wait to watch little Olivia grow older. Thank you, Millers, for allowing me to spend a morning with your little family!
