Lake Pend Oreille Family Portraits | North Idaho Destination

I don’t know about you, but I think north Idaho is a pretty darn amazing place to visit. In the summer, most of my inquiries come from families traveling to the area to meet up for a vacation getaway to Sandpoint, Idaho. The Shiring family is definitely no exception. They rented a house on the water, and we had so much fun getting to know each other during their Lake Pend Oreille family portraits.

It almost seems like a no-brainer to stay on Lake Pend Oreille when visiting Sandpoint, Idaho. It’s definitely a show-stopper for most vacationers. With the Selkirk Mountains towering over the lake below, you just can’t beat the views. The Shiring family has been traveling and meeting up in Sandpoint every summer for a while, now. I can’t blame them for coming back again and again.

We had so much during their Lake Pend Oreille family portraits. It just so happened that this year was particularly special, because they were celebrating grandma and grandpa’s 50th wedding anniversary. It was definitely special being able to capture this unique time for the couple, their kids and the grandkids. I definitely think they’ll be cherishing these photos for a long time to come.
