Sandpoint Portrait Photographer | Hayes Family Lake Pend Oreille

The Hayes family had a lot to celebrate during their vacation to Lake Pend Oreille! Jillian got in touch with me all the way from Brooklyn, NY to set up their extended family portrait session in Sandpoint. I have absolutely loved getting to meet all the amazing vacationers this year! Good people can be found anywhere, and I’m so glad that our paths are crossing.

The Hayes family came in from several different states to celebrate some exciting milestones in life. Mama Hayes is celebrating her retirement! Yay! So exciting! My own father just retired this year, so I know exactly how amazing that feels, and what an accomplishment it is! Also, Jillian’s sister, Kathleen, is celebrating her first pregnancy with a little boy. This family has so much to be thankful for.

I met them at their vacation rental on Lake Pend Oreille, and it was absolutely perfect! With a waterfront property, how can you go wrong, right?

Shooting by the water never gets old. As a Sandpoint portrait photographer, it’s definitely one of my favorite places to shoot, for obvious reasons. The beautiful blue water, the mountains in the background, the breeze. It always makes me want to pinch myself to make sure that this is real and I actually live in this beautiful place.
